First flower demonstration

I am sorry for the lack of posts, Chelsea is looming, WI demos have started, and my first flower club demo took place at the Emberton and District Flower Club on 3rd May.  Nervously i waited and prepared, my friends Judy and Pauline came to support as did my very patient boyfriend Michael who helped me lift the bits in and pack away after and prompted me when i mistakenly named a carnation a chrysanthemum...found out later he was prompted by Pauline...i knew he hadn't been paying attention to the names of flowers all those months.

Anyway here are my designs from Here Comes the Bride...even a bouquet..Lesley if you are reading this here are the shoes and gloves.....and thank you to all the ladies at Emberton and District Flower Club....you were lovely and made me feel very at ease

Centrix workshop - Hatton Village Hall - 6th March

What a lovely day, I attended the Centrix Workshop held by Jayne Edmonds at Hatton Village Hall today.  Centrix is a contemporary flower club that meet 4 times a year and learn some fantastic and different techniques.  We all have a fun time and today also enjoyed some lovely cakes made by the committee which raised money for the Eve Appeal a very worthwhile cause to raise money for research into Ovarian cancer.

Here are the stunning displays made by many of the talented ladies, mine is the last one which is now sitting proudly in our front bay window.
